we conducted a eyecamp assocition with Sankarfoundation Visakhapatnam on  6th may 2012. 97 patients are attended out of this 37 are eligible to eye operations. the sankar foundation conducted free operations on next day.

MANDAL LEVEL QUIZ COMPETATIONS

We decided to conduct mandal level quiz compitations on Republic day every year for elementary and high school students. on 26th January 2012 we conducted mandal level quiz programme for 5th class students. in mentada mandal 18 schools are participated.the programme was inagurated by HM ZPHS,Poram. we conducted 1st level exam for all subjects including G.K. in this exam top 6 schools are eligible for oraltest. finally in this Quiz three school are winners 1st m.p.p.school Buchhirajupeta,2nd M.P.P.school,Poram,3rd M.P.P.School,badevalasa.
in this evening we conduct meeting and prize distribution Our Chief Guests are 1.Sri Rongali Potanna, Chairman Zilla Grandhalayam. 2. Sri V.S.Subbarao DEO,VZM. 3.sri B.Ramanujam MEO,Mentada.

we gave cash prizes for 10th and Inter  students who got first and second ranks in our village  every year,  2009-2010 the following students are got ranks Inter: 1.K.Gandhinaidu 2. k.sanyasirao  10th Class 1.K.Shirisha and 2. S.Raghu. we conducted a public meeting on 3rd july 2010 and gave prizes to them.

2010-11 the following students were got ranks Inter 1. Ch.Srinu 2.K.Satyanarayana 10th class 1.K.Ramunaidu 2.J.Kishore. We conducted a public meeting on 8th August 2011 and gave prizes by MRO Mentada and SI Andra.

PEACE STUDY CIRCLE

PEACE STUDY CIRCLE (free coaching center for all competitive exams) we started peace study circle for diet cet free coaching on 22nd march 2011 and polytechnic exam  on 8th april 2011 and pcet on 9th april 2011. the coaching center inaugurated by Branchmanager APGVB Poram. the no of students attented  DIET---40 Polytechnic__25 and Pcet---10  from various villages.Sri Sakthi Charities give material to students.our achievements Diet cet ranks 42,62,892,total 7 students get seats and polytechnic exam 6 students got seats.

PEACE PRAJA GRANDHALAYAM

the peace members dicided to start library. so we started library on 3rd july 2010 in rented building. the library inagurated by Head master, Z.P.H.School poram. the politicians and villagers of our village donate 10000/- to our library. we buy all competative books. sri Kilaparthi RamaKrishna give 13500/- rupees for furniture to our library. the own library building opened on 6th October 2011. the DEO,VIZIANAGARAM donate books worth Rs 3000/-  the headmaster zphs poram and LVP Ratnakar naidu donate booksracks. Sai Siddardha College Gajapathinagaram donate 5000/- for current facilities. some of our villagers donate fans to our library.

hai this is my village poram in mentada mandal vizianagaram district. my village is backward in education. there are only 45 government employees in my village till 2010. in this view all the government and private employees are meet at our highschool ground on 13 may2010 and we decided to start an association named PEACE PORAM EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION for COOPERATION in EDUCATION (a thought to develop our village by ourselves). the main aim is integrated development of our village.
AIMS&OBJECTIVES:- 1.establish a library and development
                                    2.free coaching for competative exams
                                    3.help the poor students
                                    4.every year give cash prizes for 10th and inter toppers  in   village
                                    5.conduct quiz competations mandal level
                                    6.conduct health camps
                                    7.ewareness programmes on social issues
                                    8.environmental issues and others.

for this programmes every governmental employee give 100 rupees for month and private employees give as his possible.
